A Family Tradition since 1932
Stoller Fisheries was founded in 1932 by Harry F. Stoller with two employees and one truck. Leonard Stoller, Harry's son, purchased the fisheries in 1953 and expanded the business significantly. In 1982, Leonard's son Larry Stoller took over as President of Stoller Fisheries and, with Vice President Thomas Opheim, began a complete modernization and mechanization of the company. Stoller Fisheries now employs 40 people and owns a fleet of refrigerated trucks and state of the art processing equipment. The company operates under an approved HACCP plan and is authorized by the United States Food and Drug Administration as an exporter to foreign countries. All products are produced under rabbinical supervision from Star-K. A full time Rabbi supervises the daily production of a full range of byproducts.

Stoller Features:
SOUP BASES AND FISH STOCKS   As a primary processor Stoller Fisheries is capable of mincing (mechanically deboning) up to 60,000 pounds of under utilized species of fresh water fish daily. These fish include the common carp, buffalo fish, fresh water sheep head (drum), fresh water sucker (also known as the fresh water mullet) and many other species. The company can also mechanically debone salmon and ocean species. There is a growing demand for minced fish to be used as dehydrated soup bases and as fish stocks and Stoller Fisheries can custom process these fish for your needs. Please direct your inquiry to either Tom Opheim or Larry Stoller.

LOW COST AND HIGH PROTEIN
FRESH WATER FISH PRODUCTS
TO FEED A HUNGRY WORLD

There is a tremendous worldwide demand for protein at a low cost. Stoller Fisheries specializes in the processing of under-utilized species of fish which have good taste and nutritional value, but are not as widely accepted as some of the more familiar types.

We process these under-utilized species of fish as whole frozen product, head on and gutted frozen, headless and gutted frozen, frozen fish fillets, and mechanically de-boned (minced) fish. All these products are adaptable for further processing into other products including steaks, fish patties, breaded fish products, spreads, fillers, and soup bases.

Many of our products are further processed into fish balls or gefilte fish. If you require reasonably priced fish products with high protein content, contact Stoller Fisheries to discuss custom processing products for your specific needs.
